Video Ideas for Real Estate Agents and Loan Officers
Niche buyer ads, myth-busting, market explainers and more: video ideas that make buyers call you first.
Book a Call Not ready to talk? Send us your info instead →Buyers and sellers usually choose an agent or lender before they ever meet one. Video lets them get to know you first, so when they're ready, you're the one they call. Here are ideas that work, including several we've made for local agents and lenders.
1. Talk to one kind of buyer
Generic "call me for all your real estate needs" ads blend in. Ads that speak to one kind of buyer stand out. Some of our favorites:
- First-time buyers: "Buying your first home? Watch this before you buy." (Real Estate of America)
- Self-employed buyers: "Self-employed? Want to buy a home?" (Caroline Spears)
- Buyers who've been turned away: "Were you told you need tax returns?" (Pat Hansell)
2. Bust a common myth
Lots of buyers believe things that stop them from even trying, like needing 20% down. A short, friendly video that corrects one myth can open the door to a conversation.
3. Explain the market honestly
"Should you refinance right now?" is a question people are actually asking. An honest answer, even "probably not," builds more trust than a sales pitch. Our mortgage rates explainer with loan officer John Meier is a good example.
4. Introduce yourself
A simple "meet your local lender" or "meet your agent" video, filmed somewhere that feels like you, with your contact details on screen. See our ad for John Meier.
5. Walk through the process
"What happens after your offer is accepted?" Step-by-step videos make a stressful process feel manageable.
6. Neighborhood spotlights
Show buyers what it's like to live in a town: the restaurants, the parks, the main street. It positions you as the local expert and is fun to watch, even for people who aren't buying yet.
7. Client stories
A quick clip of a happy buyer holding their keys says more than any review.
Tips for agents on camera
- Be yourself. People are choosing a person, not a logo.
- Put captions on everything. Most people watch with the sound off.
- End with one clear next step: your number, your email, or "send me a message."
We write the scripts, film in your office or on a set and handle every detail. See our real estate video marketing.
